The Haradric Cube occupies a lot of space in your inventory, so you can place it in your stash. In case your character says that you cannot do it, you might have done a mistake. When you have positioned all the ingredients into the Horadric Cube click the transmute button to activate it. You can put out or in any items while it is open. You can right-click on the Cube to open it and see the items positioned there. To use it drag the needed items on it so that they automatically appear inside of the cube.
